Beware of these kind of guys everywhere - whichever religion, colour, shape or whatever their reasoning! This is what happens when people put the responsibility of their actions in the hands of a deity instead of themselves. No love, only hate - and words. Deeds speak louder... English/Nat The Rwandan army has invaded neighbouring Zaire in a major escalation of the conflict around the refugee camps in the eastern part of the country. Rwandan troops are now openly fighting alongside Tutsi rebels against Zairean soldiers. Reports say Rwandans have captured the Zairean town of Goma. Meanwhile thousands of refugees are on the move, prompting a massive humanitarian disaster which the United Nations is unable to cope with. Rwandans from the border town of Gisenyi are gathering up their belongings and leaving in their thousands. The roads leading out of Gisenyi have been filled with Rwandans on the move - some carrying clothes and mattresses on their backs. The exodus follows the shelling from across the border in Zaire of Gisenyi's main market...

www.theredquest.com My arrival into the Rwandan capital coincided with the 18th anniversary of the Genocide. I check into the Top Tower Hotel and see the sights, including a city centre walk, a trip on the back of a motorbike taxi, a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre, and a beer in the Milles de Collines, the hotel made famous by the movie 'Hotel Rwanda'. Country #19 in 2015 was RWANDA! This country was hands down our favorite in Africa. Despite all the challenges, struggles and down right treacherous past the country has had, the government and people are making great gains to preserve their beautiful piece of this planet. The streets are clean, the people overwhelmingly friendly and hard working, plus the wildlife is out of this World. Gorilla trekking in the Virunga Mountains goes on our top 5 travel experiences of all time. Check out what adventure we are doing right now at http://www.divergenttravelers.com/
Make sure to switch to HD! Subscribe to me here : https://www.youtube.com/c/FashionWizardry Hey gorgeous humans! Today's video is a short vlog from my time in Rwanda. I had so much fun in Kigali, it's insane! From shooting for the Ronkos fashion line to getting stood up during my lunch date - I wouldn't change a thing! Also visited the genocide memorial which was SUPER emotional. I decided not to vlog as there were some very graphic images from the horrible genocide period & it felt disrespectful to put such intimate & emotional aspects of people's lives personally affected by the horrible ordeal on the internet. If you are ever in Kigali, please make it a point to go visit the memorial, it's something you will not regret. The museum also survives on donations so if you're able to dona...

Recent African tourism records show Rwanda as one of the fast growing tourist destinations in Africa. The country's tourism's industry witnessed yet another double digit growth in 2016 over the previous year 2015. With this in hand, the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is considering turning the country into a luxurious tourism destination that would drive up revenues. A few weeks ago the board announced an increase in the price of gorilla permits from $750 to $1,500 for all visitors effective… READ MORE : http://www.africanews.com/2017/06/29/exploring-rwanda-s-tourism-potential-travel Africanews on YouTube brings you a daily dose of news, produced and realised in Africa, by and for Africans. As the head guide at the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Rwanda, Serge Rwigamba leads heads of state and VIPs such as Angelina Jolie through his country’s deeply painful past. The task is also very personal: He lost his father and countless other family members in the 1994 genocide. The role, he says, is therapeutic, a way of understanding his trauma. Like any job though, it comes with its quirks, characters, and challenges as seen in this short directed by Juan Herrero and produced by Tik Root.
